Rafting in the Iguazu River is an adventure activity promoted by ‘Campos de Desafios Cânion Iguaçu’, in the Brazilian part of the Iguazu Falls. After the delicious shower on the footbridge by the falls and in Macuco Safari, you can choose to take part in this incredible experience of rafting down the river.
Even the ones with no rafting experience can do it after being instructed by the guides who coordinate the activity. You will board an inflatable row boat and you will start the four-kilometer down water rowing. In some kilometers the waters are so calm that it is possible to swim. 
Two of the four kilometers have a medium level of difficulty and the other two are formed by calm waters. People from 14 years old up are allowed to practice it.
Rafting in the Iguazu Falls is practiced after the Macuco Safari Tour.
Schedule: from 8am to 5 pm.
Duration: about 2 and a half hours.
Hints: take a bathing suit for after the tour in the Falls; wear light clothes.
Remarks:
- People between 14 and 17 years old must have authorization from the ones who are responsible for them. The latter must sign a document at the place.
- The safety equipment is provided by the company: safety vests, helmets and an extra support boat (in case of contretemps).
